I think this is the Cornish Coast and was painted on our Easter holiday there in 1964. It was another in the Japanese line and wash style of painting that my mother had learnt in that country.  On our holidays/vacations she would always take some of her painting equipment with her even though unfortunately my brother and I had little patience for sitting around for an hour or two while she painted.
