The Summer Salon exhibitors admission ticket is the only artifact that remains related to the acceptance by the Royal Academy of one of her paintings in 1961. I’m not exactly sure which painting it was but I think it was the one we referred to as “The Old Lady” but was in fact called “Victoria“.
