Fayence, La Tour black and white card
Fayence, La Tour simple line drawing card

La Tour, Fayence or the Tower shows the clock tower that is the identifying feature of the village and sits at the highest point. The clock tower appears in many other drawings and paintings of the village. This hand painted card that has survived is a small original from her early days there before she went into production and had her line drawings duplicated before hand colouring them or selling them plain as in the other image. The later picture is from a very slightly different viewpoint and being a bit larger, has included a few additional details.
