Rural Hearth: traditional activities or new sections…
The last evening meeting on Tuesday was an opportunity to see the large hall of deliberations of the Fayencois town hall repopulated with nearly thirty active members, many of whom were responsible for sections already established in the last statutory general meeting.
Under the presidency of Paul Robcis, and although we tried to waste a minimum of time on futile words, the debates were conducted very late into the night, so that all the chapters were covered of nearly fifteen different activities! This, of course, only reminds leaders of the problems that were encountered, and those to come, regarding responsibility and a certain autonomy of action on the margins of customary consultation. But this assumption of responsibility (we can refer to the dynamic group of grasses and pebbles) shows that all the members of the board of directors are counting on the effort to give birth to new successes.
LIGHT, AIRY… THE MAYOR WILL SHOW THE STEP… OF DANCE!
This studious and nevertheless relaxed meeting made it possible to plan new sections. Among these, retro dance… for the teaching of which Mr. Fabre was presented as a veritable demonstrator. Mountaineering, set up by the care of Claude Pitometz, after all the information concerning the matter of insurance is known, because no one has concerns about the instructor, Jean-Claude, his conquests and the purchase of equipment, designed for the various complementary disciplines on high mountain slopes. Of drawing and modeling too with the arrival in the ranks of Christine Benson and Sybille, who will undertake the awakening of pictorial interests. The sections in addition to renewals are: cinema; disco-rock with young people ready for new conquests and the purchase of complementary materials; a sub-section also for discotheque evenings “pure”, for which the major problem of the shows seem to emanate more from individuals than the public advertising; the photo club; the grass and rock sections; walking; the “Provençal” – all begin in October.
Information relating to the various activities will be given with precision in due time; but already, registrations and contacts can be made with the leaders.
