Second edition of the great crafts fair in Fayence and first real success. We were able to learn from the lessons of last year in order to present to the public of the canton of Fayence the true craftsmanship of this welcoming and lively countryside.

The homage must thus be paid to the fair committee who without excessive fuss, without ambitious ambitions of the festivals which, without enormous means, without budget-intensive expenses (quite the contrary) knew how to organize a high quality event corresponding to the reception capacities of the village and offering the desired excitment.

Modest and self-effacing, still fearful of not having done well, President Jean Martino can be reassured that the goal has been largely achieved and the many summer visitors who came to this fair have provided proof of its success.

The secret of success lies in the formula chosen: static exhibition point or sales stands. We preferred the difficulty to the practical solution of establishing a large market of resellers

These are the craftsmen who will have created the excitement coming with their equipment to demonstrate their daily work, the potter at the wheel, the weaver at the loom, the painter at the easel, the sculptor with chisel.

The arrival yesterday afternoon of the Lorgues folk group “Lou Ginestoun” will have brought a Provençal note to this celebration of fine work which had already known, by itself, to attract interest, arouse passion and even some vocations.
Bravo and at the year III craft fair.
