Royal Drawing Society, Honours, Division One, May,1938, aged 10. I was very surprised to find this ancient certification. It appears to be awarded for an examination originating in London far from the small provincial town of Bournemouth where my mother was being raised. It must have been an accomplishment for her to achieve as she kept the document her whole life.

The back of the document details the other Divisions in the series but those don’t seem to have survived.
