I think this is Mitsuko who was our wonderful maid while we lived in Okinawa, Japan from1953 to 1955. She even used to accompany us on our sight seeing travels around Japan.

I was too young to have a direct memory and can only go by our family photo albums. Attached here is one of several of photographs of her. The only reason I’m uncertain is the drawing is dated 1957 which was when we moved to Yokohama. Perhaps she was persuaded to come with us.
