Fayence – Robert Fabre Avenue looking down from Rue Maurice Astier, as best as I can work out from my recollection and looking at Google maps. It was a particularly hazardous intersection, especially on my mobilette, as one negotiated the hairpin by the tree in the middle. Of course Christine has rendered it as a quite picturesque avenue instead of the bustling intersection that it was most of the time. One should also note the ever present cat and woman returning with the morning shopping.
