Fayence – Robert Fabre Avenue looking from Rue Maurice Astier as best as I can work out from my recollection and looking at Google maps. It was a particularly hazardous intersection especially on my mobilette as one negotiated the hairpin by the tree in the middle. Of course my mother has rendered it as a quite picturesque avenue instead of the bustling intersection that it was most of the time. One should also note the ever present cat and local returning with the morning shopping.
