Buzzy was the product of a painting demonstration done in an art class for a ladies club in a nearby town, Lyndhurst. For some reason I was “dragged” along for the event since I was out of boarding school at the time. I actually found the whole demonstration very informative and I was also very pleasantly surprised at how cooperative little Buzzy was as a model. Buzzy was the daughter of the woman organizing the event. I’m not sure if this was the original painted that evening or a later copy my mother did so the original could go to the organizer.
